In our role as the official communications services partner, BT isn’t just providing the communications services to help make London 2012 the most connected Games ever. We’re also helping to tell the story of the greatest show on earth.
For our BT Storytellers campaign we signed up a collection of 100 artists, writers, poets, bloggers, social networkers, graphic designers, film-makers, photographers and musicians from across the UK, and asked them to tell their stories of the build-up to London 2012.
The views, opinions and creativity of the Storytellers are collected on a website, which allows the public to share their stories too. As part of our commitment to showcasing British talent, we have also been highlighting some of the Storytellers’ creative work on London 2012 Live Sites during the run up to the Games.
The result is a unique and diverse record of the excitement, preparations and personal inspirations that will contribute to this once-in-a-lifetime event, and is all part of our commitment to supporting, connecting with, and sharing in, one of the biggest cultural and sporting events our country has ever seen.
