Information Technology - Office Based - (Higher - £15,000)

In this role it is your responsibility to ensure that BT delivers IT solutions to its biggest Customers. This could include the management of BT’s networks & systems, or the co-ordination and monitor of installation or repair activities for BT’s networks & its Customers. It could also include the need to provide on-line technical support for some of the sophisticated communications technology in use by our Customers.

The role may also include analysis of networks and systems data and the development and co-ordinated delivery of appropriate service improvements.

This will require you to work as part of a team that will work collectively to ensure that our Customers are extremely satisfied with their IT solutions. Some travel may be required to carry out similar work at other office locations.

To carry out this role you will be trained to a high technical level.

You need to be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate that you are committed to delivering and improving the excellent service we provide to Customers.

You will learn all you need to know by working with experienced BT people, from training courses and whilst working towards a Foundation Degree in IT for Business and NVQ. With your personal commitment we will guarantee full support to enable you to build a successful and rewarding career in BT.

Required qualifications

5 GCSEs at grade C or above and 2 A Levels (or Scottish Highers) at grade C or above. GCSEs must include English Language, Maths and either Science, IT or Electronics (or ICT) (Science must be at least double award).
A Levels must be in similar subjects to stipulated GCSEs or business related.
