Changing jobs or starting full-time work can be daunting. But our culture is all about support – one that means people will go out of their way to help you settle in when you get here. What’s more, you’ll have access to support networks throughout your career at BT. These include:
Gradnet
Gradnet is a network dedicated to offering high quality information and opportunities to all graduates across BT. As a team they are focused on ensuring graduates have the opportunities to maximise their knowledge and connections so they can grow and develop their careers within BT. Gradnet is an informal network that looks to support and compliment the graduate programme. The team is purely voluntary, made up of first and second year graduates from a wide range of business units across BT. Being graduates themselves the team have an understanding of the importance of ensuring the graduate experience is a good one and that there are plenty of opportunities to build networks, share knowledge and grow together. Through Gradnet you'll find out which other graduates are in your area. You’ll be invited to social and business events to help you make friends and build up your own network of contacts, and you’ll be able to discuss any topical issues or general questions with other graduates.
The buddy system
On joining, you'll be assigned a ‘buddy’ – a graduate from the year above, and a great person to turn to for advice.
Other support networks
