BT is at the forefront of flexible working and is benefiting not only from the flexible approach of its own employees, but also from selling flexible working solutions to our customers. One of the key elements helping us to sell such solutions is that we are openly transforming our own business capability by enabling our people to adopt flexible approaches to work. Achieving a work-life balance by using Conferencing Services instead of travelling is one of our major messages and is supported at all levels within BT Group.
Whilst there is obviously a need to strike a balance between the needs of our customers and the needs of individual employees to work flexibly, by working in partnership with each other and with their teams, thousands of BT people have already agreed alternative working arrangements that are making our business more productive, cost effective and energised.
The MBA team are largely co-located at the global headquarters in London and are encouraged to share their time at both the team home base and on site with the project teams.
