Networks

Loading the player ...

During your apprenticeship in the networks area, you'll learn how the Internet works and the settings and configurations that have to be in place in order for this to happen (e.g. you can't send video over an audio network, because the network elements will not accept the format).

Every network apprentice will gain a vast array of skills, from a technical understanding of networks (the nuts and bolts) to building up some softer skills such as presenting, leadership, issue resolution and time management. Network apprentices' work on many different aspects of BT's networks; designing, testing and operating.

Within the network apprenticeship, the roles are technically orientated. So, if you have an interest in what goes on 'behind the screen' and you have a real passion and drive to learn how it all works, networks is the place for you.

We are offering advanced, higher, and full degree apprenticeships in Networks.
