Recycling

We already recycle much of our waste and reduced the amount sent to landfill by 42% in 2006. We recycled 40,000 tonnes of waste in 06/07. The amount sent to landfill was 54,000 tonnes - 9% less than 05/06.

We’re now trialling recycling at source with material-specific recycling bins being introduced in some of our key buildings to further cut waste to landfill.
