BT Social Policy works with many community and charitable organisations on projects that improve communications and reflect BT's business and values. To create the most impact, most of these will be national projects that support people right across the UK.
To help link local communities to the internet, BT is running the 'Community Connections' scheme, which is awarding 1700 PCs to groups who wish to make a positive impact in their community. If you think that your organisation matches this description you can apply or find out more at BT Community Connections.
Any other donations can only be made by BT through an internal BT 'Community Champions' scheme which recognises the work of BT people in their local areas. So if there is a BT person active in your organisation, please speak to them about applying for a grant.
If having read the information provided above and on relevant websites, you have a specific query, please contact Carl Carter, Projects Manager in the Social Policy Team by email on carl.carter@bt.com. If you are a BT employee, Carl will provide you with further details of the 'Community Champions' scheme.
