David WilsonDavid Wilson was appointed vice-president for BT Health, part of BT Global Services, in September 2010.
In this role, he has end-to-end responsibility for growing BT’s health business, both in the UK and internationally.
David has extensive experience in the health IT industry, specialising in large transformation projects.
He joined BT Health in 2004 as service director on the Spine Programme, the national database and messaging service that underpins the NHS National Programme for IT. In 2006, he moved to BT’s LSP Programme as deployment director, where he had responsibility for BT’s work in both the acute and community and mental health care settings.
Prior to joining BT, David worked on a number of public sector transformation programmes where he focused on large business change projects.
Outside of work, David is currently continuing his postgraduate education by undertaking a Masters degree at the University of Oxford. Most importantly, David is proud dad to two boys which accounts for most of his spare time!
