BT is working with a number of Trusts to help mobile workers in the NHS, for example midwives or community nurses, to have access to the same tools and applications just as if they were based at their desks.
One solution BT is providing is based on its own Fieldforce solution for BT engineers. The solution equips mobile health workers with laptops that come complete with all the appropriate clinical applications, as well as work scheduling tools.
