Choose and Book (C&B)

Choose and Book is a national electronic booking service which gives patients a choice of place, date and time for their first outpatient's appointment in a hospital or clinic.

Patients can choose their hospital or clinic, and then book their appointment to see a specialist whilst at their GP practice at the point of referral or later either over the telephone or on the internet.

Spine manages the message routing between the GP and hospital for the service.
