
Entries to the challenge must be applications created for Wi-Fi enabled Symbian OS-based devices. Entries must utilise the Wi-Fi connection of the device for some of their operation (though they may also operate over the GPRS/3G connection or in an offline mode). Entries should be native Symbian applications (J2ME MIDP applications are not eligible) and provided in a .sis install file.
Steps for entry:
1. Develop your application for a Symbian-based platform - either the Series 60 platform (version 3 or above), or the UIQ platform (version 3 or above). Suggested target devices are outlined below:
Nokia: N95, N80, N91, N93, N93i, N92, E90, E60, E61, E61i, E65, E70
Sony Ericsson: P990, P1, W960
Software Developer Kits (SDKs) for the Series 60 platform can be downloaded from Forum Nokia. SDKs for the UIQ platform can be downloaded from the UIQ website.
