A video preview looking at BT’s research into the future of the digital home is now available here...
There’s no doubting the huge impact that broadband has made to people and their lives in recent years. For millions of us, this includes our homes where digital living is fast-becoming a way of life. Over time we will see more and more exciting multimedia applications and services becoming commonly available within our ‘digital homes’ helping us to enhance our lives.
In order to look more closely at these new applications and services, BT has set up a dedicated research programme – the BT Digital Home Research Programme. It’s a programme that researches into the entertainment and communications services of the future – but also looks at the new technologies that will help us all to manage our increasingly digital lives and ensure we don’t become slaves to technology.
An illuminating demonstration video which explores the areas that BT’s digital home researchers are working on can be viewed by clicking on the link at the top of this page. The video has been designed to be widely accessible to all.
