BT Renewables at Heysham

News - 2011

We are pleased to have received planning permission for a single onshore wind turbine at Fanny House Farm, Heysham. We’d like to thank those who expressed interest in the project and we will keep the local community informed of the plans as we now begin to plan its construction and operation.

The turbine is an important part of a range of sustainable energy measures BT is putting in place to save energy and secure 25% of its future energy needs from renewable and low carbon sources.
