Learning and skills

BT’s education programme is designed to help young people overcome disadvantage, achieve more in their own lives and improve the world around them.

Our vision is of a world in which:

  • Young people are always listened to and have their needs and opinions acted upon
  • Parents, teachers, government and those in business all work together to achieve lasting improvements in the communication skills of young people
  • Young people use communication skills to collaborate and effect real social change on the issues that matter to them.

To achieve this, we help young people who have difficulty with speech, language or other aspects of communication. We work to equip young people with the communication and collaboration skills they need, and help them use those new-found skills to improve their communities.
