Equiniti Launched

It was confirmed today (Monday 1 October 2007) that, following the approval of the Financial Services Authority, Advent International have completed the purchase of BT's registrars - Lloyds TSB Registrars. With the purchase our registrars have changed their name to Equiniti Limited. From now on you will receive information about your shares from Equiniti and see our registrars referred to as 'Equiniti' on BT web pages. Please note references in publications to Lloyds TSB Registrars should now be read as references to 'Equiniti’ (contact telephone numbers remain unchanged); references to Shareview should be read as references to Equiniti Shareview; references to Lloyds TSB Registrars Corporate Nominees Limited remain for now unchanged.

 

Commenting for BT, Alan Scott Director of Corporate Governance, said " Lloyds TSB Registrars, now Equiniti, have been BT's registrars since our privatisation in 1984. Their team is unchanged and we expect their dedication to BT will remain unchanged. We have built a strong partnership over more than 20 years which we are looking to build upon"
