We’re excited to announce the launch of the BT Credit Card. It’s unlike any other credit card because every time you use it for card purchases such as everyday shopping, petrol and food, you can save money on your BT bill. We will deduct the discount you have earned automatically from your BT bill, you don’t need to do anything to claim your discount – it’s that easy!

Here's how it works

It’s so easy to save money off your BT phone bill with the BT Credit Card. The more you spend, the more you save. 1p for every £2 you spend up to £250 in a month; then 1p for every £1 you spend in a month over that. See the table below for examples of how much you could save.

Earn up to £75 off your BT bill in every 12 month period

In fact, you could save up to £150* in every 12 month period

If there are two BT Credit Cardholders in your household each with their own BT Credit Card account, the total saving against your BT bill could be £150* a year (£75 each for every 12 months) in discount off the same BT bill. This is the equivalent of 8 months of inclusive UK anytime calls and line rental on BT Option Plan 3!

Pay no interest for a year on balance transfers

Enjoy 0% p.a. on balance transfers for a full 12 months and 0% p.a. on card purchases for 6 months, from the date your account is opened; typical rate of 15.9% APR (variable). These fantastic rates are provided with no annual fee to pay.

Save an extra £18 per year against your BT bill

If you don’t currently pay your BT bill by Direct Debit or Monthly Payment Plan, simply set up recurring authority to your BT Credit Card and save £18 per year against the cost of the payment processing fee**.

This £18 saving is separate to the up to £75 a year discount†† off your BT bill you could earn for using your BT Credit Card for purchases. Therefore, the maximum combined saving you could earn against your BT bill is a fantastic £93 per year!

To get your £18 per year saving, all you need to do is:

1. Log in to Your account on www.bt.com
2. Go to Payments and select Continuous card recurring authority
3. Enter your BT Credit Card details

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
You have a right to cancel this agreement. You can do this by sending or taking a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to MBNA Europe Bank Limited, PO Box 1004, Chester Business Park, Wrexham Road, Chester CH4 9WW. You have either fourteen days starting with the day after we received your signed agreement or five days starting with the day after you received your card, whichever is the later. If you cancel this agreement, you will still have to repay any money lent to you. But if you repay all of it before your first payment is due, you will not have to pay interest or other charges.
