This plan allows shareholders to invest their cash dividends to purchase additional BT shares. Dividends paid to participants in this plan are pooled and the total amount used to purchase shares, so that a charge of only 1% of the amount reinvested (including 0.5% stamp duty reserve tax) is made, allowing a low-cost way of topping up your holding of BT shares. The price paid for the shares will be known only after shares have been purchased, a few days after the dividend payment date, and will be posted here when known.

Forms must be received by our registrars, Equiniti, at least a month before a dividend payment date to apply to that dividend. As you may already be aware, Lloyds TSB has agreed to transfer the business carried on by its Registrar's division to the Equiniti group of companies. Some of the services which Lloyds TSB Registrars provided have already been transferred to, and are now being provided by, Equiniti Limited or Equiniti Financial Services Limited (depending on the services in question). The other services will be transferred to one of these two Equiniti companies in due course. Until the transfer date, the services will be provided by the relevant Equiniti company on Lloyds TSB's behalf. You do not need to take any action as a result of this change.
Please post your completed form to our registrars at the following postal address: Equiniti Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA
