Executive board

The BT Scotland executive board brings together senior management from across BT’s lines of business to achieve common objectives. They ensure that specific needs of Scottish customers are recognised and taken into account.

Current objectives are based around three key areas of social inclusion, enterprise and the environment.

The executive board is led by Brendan Dick, director of BT Scotland. His main responsibilities are to oversee BT’s Group wide activities in Scotland and develop BT’s strategic programmes with government, enterprise agencies, business and community organisations, focusing on the exploitation of ICT.

Outside work, Brendan is chair of the Edinburgh Business Assembly and a board member of the Scottish Council for Development and Industry and Scottish Business in the Community. He is also a member of the CBI Scotland Council and the Scottish Government’s Climate Change Business Delivery Group. He is a graduate of Common Purpose in Edinburgh, serving for several years on its advisory panel. Leisure time revolves round family, golf, cycling and skiing.
