BT has had a presence in Canada for many years. The key to our success is offering global reach with local knowledge, tailoring our global IT & networking services to meet the needs of our customers, combined with global account management and customer service.

Network & capabilities

We own and operate our own infrastructure in North America including competitive reach to major Canadian cities including Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The current MPLS expansion program will expand the network to a full complement of 23 points of presence North America (20 are already operational), making the network one of the larger MPLS networks of any carrier in the region.

We also provide such innovative offerings such as the Message Management Platform (MMP), offering a complete suite of e-mail management and protection tools, and Applications Assured Infrastructure (AAI), a suite of offerings to ensure end-to-end applications performance over a customer’s communications infrastructure, as well as a full portfolio of network-centric outsourcing services. The comprehensive security portfolio offerings – whether it’s compliance, network protection, secure communications, rigorous identification, or sound operational risk management – provide enterprises solutions to the challenges in today’s digital networked economy. Our recent acquisitions of Infonet and Radianz strengthen our capabilities in the region.
