Our heritage policies

BT Archives preserves the records of BT and its predecessors and promotes access to the records and their content, internally and externally to national and international communities.

BT has specific policies for heritage issues. They detail our commitments to look after our heritage and covers all company-related historical material, including three-dimensional artefacts and objects as well as historical archives and information.

The key features of our approach are to maintain historical documents and records within the company under the management of BT Archives, in accordance with its policies, and to promote access to our physical artefacts online and at museums across the UK through BT's Connected Earth initiative.

Each policy is available to download as a PDF document below.
