BT Retail strategy update

On Thursday 14 December Ian Livingston, CEO, BT Retail hosted an event to review BT Retail and in particular focused on a number of businesses within BT Retail which, collectively, account for 12% of BT Group revenues:  BT Business, Enterprises and BT Ireland.  This is the first time BT has split out these specific segments of the business which are demonstrating real growth and development.

This is an opportunity to hear from the heads of each business, understand their business challenges, successes and underlying performance:

Bill Murphy, Managing Director, BT Business explained how we are transforming our business which deals with 1.2m customers in the small and medium-sized business segment.

Nigel Stagg, Managing Director, Enterprises discussed the performance of our Enterprise businesses including Conferencing, BT Phonebooks and the recently-acquired Dabs.com, focusing on how we are driving new wave revenues.

Danny McLaughlin, CEO, BT Ireland and Managing Director BTNI & BT Regions detailed the success of our business in Ireland across all our customer groups, where it aims to become the leading provider of networked IT and converged IP services.
