Wins

BT has announced a five-year contract, worth 26 million Euros, with Caixa Galicia to provide advanced telecommunication services and transform the organisation's IP network. More.

Brazilian catering company - Grupo de Soluções em Alimentação (GRSA) – has appointed BT to provide cost saving IT and networking services under a five year contract. More.

Munich Re, the world's largest re-insurance company, has again chosen BT as its international partner for networked IT services. BT is Munich Re's strategic partner for site networking in Germany, connecting more than 60 company sites in 33 countries via its MPLS data network. More.

BT and Nortel have announced a new four-year global trading agreement for Nortel's enterprise equipment and services including its convergence portfolio. More.

BT has signed a five-year contract with Emirates Airline to help the leading global carrier consolidate its contact centres around the world onto a single, globally managed platform. More.

Leading Swiss-based producer of crop protection products and seeds, Syngenta, has signed a seven-year agreement with BT under which BT will provide a range of telecommunications and IT services aimed at enhancing Syngenta's business operational efficiency and agility. More.

BT has launched a High Definition (HD) Video Bridging service. The company is one of the few providers to offer a complete service, including equipment and network connection, to ensure a high-quality, end-to-end experience. More.

Businesses can now take advantage of BT's recently refreshed high value business bundle offering broadband and calls to UK landlines, international destinations and mobile numbers for just £30 a month. More.

Tandberg and BT have signed a memorandum of understanding to deliver the first global non-proprietary solution for inter-company telepresence and videoconferencing. More.

BT has announced the availability of two new managed security services in the UK. Appointment

BT has appointed former BSkyB chief executive Tony Ball as a non-executive director to the BT board. Ball, who is chairman of Kabel Deutschland, has held senior executive positions in broadcasting and telecoms businesses in the UK, the USA and continental Europe. More.
