JGK Welcome to the July issue of BT’s newsletter for industry analysts.

These are really interesting times for BT. There are challenges to be met across the company, including at BT Global Services where we are currently working hard to rebuild. However, we are pleased the rest of the business did so well in the financial year, given some very difficult market conditions. You can read more about our end of year financial results in this issue.

We also have some very exciting initiatives underway including BT’s next generation access (NGA) roll-out. You can read more about BT’s NGA programme in this issue in the interview with David Campbell from Openreach. There’s also a look at cloud computing and its impact on SMEs, plus news on some major deals signed by BT Wholesale.

I’m really glad to be back after my break to care for my new baby. One of my immediate priorities is to work on making BT’s analyst relations function more unified and co-ordinated so that we can provide an even better service to the industry analyst community.
