Wins

BT has extended its contract by 24 months with Airbus in the UK to manage and run the company's securely encrypted wide area network (WAN). More.

Two contracts, worth a combined value of £40.2 million, to provide voice and data services to Norfolk County Council, have been signed by BT. BT will also provide a managed internet service to more than 450 schools in Norfolk. More.

BT Vision and ESPN have agreed a deal for the new ESPN channel, which will offer live Barclays Premier League and Clydesdale Bank Premier League football, as well a wide range of international football and other sports. More.

Commerzbank has chosen BT to provide it with trading systems in financial centres worldwide. Under a five year, multi-million euro contract, BT will support systems on trading floors around the world with immediate effect, bringing multiple benefits to internal stakeholders. More.

BT VisionBT Vision has signed a video on demand movies deal with Sony Pictures Television. More.

Consumers and small businesses in Ireland will benefit from greater competition and choice, following a strategic partnership agreed between BT and Vodafone. The landmark contract will also result in the creation of an alternative, competitive telecoms network in Ireland. More.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has awarded BT a contract worth more than £99 million to support communications across 197 military bases. BT will manage voice and data networks in more than a quarter of a million MOD assets, including buildings, comms rooms and underground cable ducts. More.

Thomas Pink, the British luxury shirt maker and Warehouse, providers of fashion design for the high street, are the first businesses in the UK to use BT Expedite's Integrated Store multi-channel system, linking store and online channels. More.
