About BT Group

European Affairs

Welcome to the BT European Affairs website

Based in the centre of Brussels, the BT European Affairs team is here to ensure that BT’s voice is heard and policy influenced at the EU institutions; and to make sure that BT understands EU priorities when making its own strategy.

We produce a large number of internal and external briefings as well as updates on the latest events in the institutions of relevance to BT so please return often to see what we have added.

BT EuropeanAffairs serves as a bridge between business and government. Our EuropeanAffairs team in Brussels has oversight of how European policy initiatives affect the countries in which we operate. We also are a keen partner in initiatives where BT's services meet European and global multi-site projects as well as those involving working with the public sector and government projects.

Although BT is normally associated with the UK, we have had a presence in mainland Europe for more than 20 years. Our reach into the continent means that we are actively involved in monitoring key European policy initiatives that affect the countries in which we operate. We also partner with governments to provide solutions, as we have done in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.

To reflect our commitment to following the European issues that affect different countries in the EU and beyond, our EuropeanAffairs office is located in the heart of Brussels.

If you cannot find what you want, however, please do call us.
