Christine van der Steur is Business Affairs Manager and joined the BT's Brussels Office in 1997. She holds a pivotal role in running the offices of the President, European Affairs and the Director European Affairs. Her responsibilities include providing executive assistance to both the President and the Director, managing VIP visits to Brussels and high-level events such as Ben Verwaayen's Brussels Round Table initiative, and managing the facilities and health & safety issues for the building. Before joining BT, Christine worked for the British Gas European Affairs Brussels office, and for AT&T's EMEA Coordination Centre in the HR department. She is a certified First Aider and holds a degree in Translation. She speaks fluent English, French, Spanish, and conversational Dutch.
