Help local charities in your constituency boost their donations through MyDonate

MyDonateMyDonate is a new free online charitable fundraising service from BT . The service is free and every penny donated through MyDonate goes to charity, except for charges levied by donors' own credit/debit card companies. It's also the first no fee, no commission online fundraising service in the UK. So every fundraiser and charity that gets involved with MyDonate will benefit.

Charities, fundraisers and donors can get free online support from the MyDonate website to help them set up their events pages, plus fundraising tips and links to social media sites to help promote fundraising sites.

If charities in your constituency would like to know more they should visit www.bt.com/mydonatefindoutmore where they'll find out all they need to know about donating, setting up an event page or sponsoring somebody. They'll be in good company as hundreds of charities have already registered.

This year BT is aiming to raise a £1million for Sport Relief 2012 across a series of celebrity challenges and a range of other fundraising activities.

BT has supported Comic Relief from the outset (1986) providing support to take donations from the public every year in March. Recent years have seen sponsorship and fundraising activities grow – including last year’s BT Red Nose Desert Trek which raised over £1.5million in total.
