Consult21 is an information source for all Communications Providers (CPs) and is directly linked to BT’s and Openreach’s 21st Century Network (21CN) activities. Its aim is to share vital information about the 21CN programme with all CPs.

We believe it’s vital that all CPs are in the know on developments that are likely to affect their operation. Consult21 registration is the way to ensure receipt of any key announcements surrounding the 21CN programme.

Consult21 was created to foster awareness around the planning and delivery of BT's Next Generation Network, 21CN. It focuses on working groups and consultation between BT, Openreach and CPs.

The working groups enable CPs to participate in a broad range of 21CN discussion areas including systems & processes, network structure, conformance testing, implementation & migration and communications. Other working groups focus more closely on interconnect & portfolio, point-to-point, broadband and line access issues.

As well as an opportunity to attend working group meetings, workshops and special events, members of Consult21 receive regular mailings, consultation documents, relevant Consult21/21CN briefing documents and invitations to join conference calls on specific 21CN and related customer experience topic areas.

To register for receipt of Consult21 notices please email helen.nurse@bt.com, specifying if you wish to register for the main Consult21 distribution list (to receive everything) or just for the Consult21 working group schedule.

If you are a reseller you can register for regular updates on the 21CN programme through the switched-on communications campaign.
