The BT Basic line rental is only £13.50 every three months (including VAT), and you can pay your bill however you like.
Your line rental includes a call allowance of £4.50 every three months (this includes VAT). This means that if your phone calls to normal UK or international destinations never go over that amount, your bill will never be more than £13.50 every three months (including VAT).
Your £4.50 call allowance covers national, local and international calls. The number of calls you can make depends on the length and type of calls you make. If you call a National or local number, it will be calculated on a 10 pence a minute rate (plus 3p for each call). International calls are calculated on the standard BT calling package rates.
If you go over your £4.50 call allowance, you'll pay 10p a minute (plus 3p for each phone call) for all normal UK calls and all other types of calls will be charged at standard BT calling package rates. If you don't use up all of your call allowance, you can't carry this over to the next three months.
Normal UK phone calls include numbers that begin with "01", "02" or "03". They do not include calls to the Channel Islands, premium-rate numbers, calls to the Internet, calls to mobile phones, calls made through the operator, or calls to numbers that are not linked to a particular region (these begin with 0845 or 0870).
If you would like to see the terms and conditions of any of the other phone lines and services that do not apply, please visitwww.bt.com.
If you make any of these calls, we will charge you at standard BT Calling Plan rates. If you don't have a phone line with us at the moment, you will have to pay a connection charge. But with BT Basic, you can spread the cost of this charge over time without paying extra.
