Get ready, here come the Tech4good Awards

Tech4Good Awards 2016The Tech4Good Awards, sponsored by BT, returns for 2016. Now in its sixth year, the awards celebrate innovations in technology that improve the lives of others.

The award scheme is the only one of its kind that highlights the wealth of charities, businesses, individuals and volunteers across the UK that use digital technology to make the world a better place.

And BT is proud to support the Tech4Good Awards again, as we’ve done from the start in 2011.

Over the past six years the awards have seen more than 1,000 entries showcasing some stunning examples of the good that technology can do, with over 50 winners crowned for their game changing contribution to society.

From low cost 3D-printed bionic limbs and apps that support LGBT teenagers to talking cashpoints and a solution to solve the worldwide problem of complex addressing systems, the judges are sure to have an equally tough time picking this year’s winners.

Entry opens Tuesday 15 March, and is open to individuals – young or old – and organisations in the UK. Entrants can nominate themselves or someone else.

You can find out more at the Tech4Good website or by following their dedicated Twitter account, @Tech4GoodAwards.
