General questions about disability issues

Q. Does BT have a disability register?

A. No, we do not have a general disability register but we keep records of customers who receive their phone bills in alternative formats such as Braille or large print.

For more information on alternative formats visit the Our Services section on this website.

Q. Does BT consult with disabled people in the development of new products and services?

A. At BT we are positive about employing disabled people. We regularly consult with disabled colleagues who may be knowledgeable about the use of software packages for visually impaired users for example, or text communication for hearing or speech impaired people. We also consult with disabled customers who have asked to be involved in trials of new products or services aimed at the disability market.

If you would like to be involved in trials of new products or services aimed at the disability market then please contact us
