The following organisations provide advice and information on age and disability issues.
Action for Blind People
Action for Blind People is a national charity which supports blind and partially sighted people.
Age Concern
Age Concern are a national network of more than 400 independent charities, second only to the government in providing high-quality help and care for older people.

Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC) is the only UK charity wholly dedicated to curing arthritis.
Assist UK
Assist UK leads a UK wide network of locally-situated Disabled Living Centres. Each centre includes a permanent exhibition of products and equipment that provide people with opportunities to see and try products and equipment and get information and advice from professional staff about what might suit them best.
National Cochlear Implant Users Association (NCIUA)

Office for Disability Issues - making equality a reality
The Office for Disability Issues works with and across government to deliver equality for disabled people. Directgov disabled people and carers is part of ODI and gives practical help and advice on financial support, rights, employment, independent living and much more.
