Funding

The following organisations provide funding and support to help older and disabled people to communicate more effectively.

BT Community Connections

This award scheme enables community and voluntary groups throughout the UK to get online. Since 2000, the scheme has awarded more than 4,600 internet-ready PCs to organisations including silver-surfer, disability and family support groups. In 2006/07 over 1,300 awards will be made to groups who can demonstrate how a PC and internet connection will benefit their work and local community.
