Extension Tonecaller: helping Jean hear her telephone ring  

Jean Proudfoot wasn't able to hear the telephone ring when she wasn't standing near it and she was beginning to miss calls. BT provides a free socket doubler and Tonecaller to their hard of hearing customers who cannot hear the telephone ring and these were sent to her as soon as we knew of her problem.

Her husband fitted them in the telephone socket alongside the telephone and Jean rang back to BT to report a great result saying, "I have no difficulty hearing the phone ring now almost anywhere in the house."
