Caller Display

If you have difficulty communicating over the phone, Caller Display lets you see the number of the person who is calling you, so you
can choose not to answer if you do not recognise the phone number. You will need a telephone with Caller Display facility or a separate Caller Display unit

BT Call Sign

BT Call Sign gives you an extra phone number which you can choose to give to a few people you know well. When people use the extra phone number the phone will ring in a different way so that you know if is for you. You may find this reassuring if you have a speech impairment which makes it difficult for you to communicate with strangers. The extra number with BT Call Sign is also useful if your household uses both standard phones and a textphone.

BT Answer 1571

These in a free on-line call answering service. You do not need any special equipment to use Call Minder, but some phones now have 1571 buttons to make accessing your message easier and Message Waiting Indicator to tell you when you have any new messages. The service comes with a pre-recorded greeting, but if you want to have your own greeting you can upgrade to Enhanced BT Answer 1571 or to BT Call Minder, both of which give a number of additional features for a small monthly fee
