Nuisance Calls

Nuisance calls can be offensive, threatening, or simply very annoying.

Whatever the nature of the calls, we are extremely concerned about the distress and inconvenience caused to our customers. Here are some ways we can work together to take positive action against malicious calls.

Choose to Refuse

If you know the number of the person making nuisance calls to you, you can bar it from calling your number. Alternatively Choose to Refuse can bar the last 10 numbers that called you, even if you don't know what they are.

Anonymous call rejection

Lets you bar calls from anyone who withholds their number

You can sign up for these services by calling 0800 800 150 [Text uses ring 18001 0800 800 150]

If you have tried the methods listed above and you are still getting unwanted calls, you can call our Nuisance Call Advice line free of charge, anytime of the day or night on 0800 661 441. A recorded message will give you simple advice on the most suitable action to take depending on the particular difficulties you are experiencing. You will also be offered the option to speak to a trained adviser who will work with you, using their knowledge and experience to tackle the problem. In extreme cases they can also work with the Police.
