In less than a generation, mobile communications has evolved from being relatively few massive radio telephones lugged around by reporters to more than 3 billion devices owned by people in all walks of life world-wide. Mobile services have also changed enormously during this short period of time from simply offering voice calls to now supporting e-mails, messaging, watching videos and buying tickets.
