Nigel Williams
Nigel Williams, Northern Ireland's Commissioner for Children and Young People sadly died after a long illness at the end of March. Nigel had been an ambassador and supporter of the BT ‘Am I Listening?’ campaign for nearly 2 years and his support for the campaign and its aims has been invaluable – he will be missed.
Claire Curtis-Thomas MP
“What many people fail to recognise is that young people are not merely the future of the UK, they are also an important part of our present. We must encourage them to speak and act upon the issues that matter to them and listen to their opinions. I am proud to be part of the ‘Am I Listening?’ campaign, which is working hard to highlight the need for young people in the UK to have a real voice.”
Sgt. Harvey E. Walden IV
“Come on people, get motivated and let's listen to our children! I'm amazed, only 47% of children believe that adults listen to them and act upon what they hear! It's time to rock'n'roll and make it 100%! DIG DEEP, EXERCISE YOUR EARS, AND LISTEN UP!!!!”
