How charities can help their own fundraisers

London marathon runnerHow can charities make the most from opportunities presented by significant fundraising events like the London Marathon?

And how do they best support the efforts of their fundraisers tackling these events?

Well, a cracking article appearing on The Guardian’s Voluntary Sector Network Zone reveals all.

The feature looks at how charities can act to stand the best chance of meeting and exceeding, their fundraising targets for large events. It highlights steps taken by one particular charity – Teens Unite Fighting Cancer (TUFC) to help their own London Marathon-running fundraisers to be even more successful this year.

Meanwhile fundraisers who took part in the 2013 event explain what they did to maximise donations.

This one’s a must-read for charities.
