BT MyDonate reaches 10,000 charities

We’re delighted to announce that there are now over 10,000 charities registered and live on MyDonate. Since January, over £22million has been raised through our online donation platform, with an average of 2016 donations per day.

Making a real difference

Many top charities, like BBC Children In Need use BT MyDonate as one of their main online fundraising platforms. Karen Bass, Director of Finance and Operations at BBC Children in Need says, “Every penny raised or donated through BT MyDonate will go towards helping disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. It is a fantastic fundraising tool that is popular with so many of our supporters when they are looking to make a difference.”

With BT MyDonate, it’s quick and easy to set up a fundraising page or regular monthly donation to your favourite charity. And to make sure your money makes a bigger difference, we don’t take a commission on the money you raise.

A hassle-free platform

Using BT MyDonate means charities get as much as 5% extra on each donation. Apart from the fees charged by the card companies (a 15p flat rate fee for a debit card transaction of any size or a 1.3% credit card charge) so all the money goes straight to the charity of your choice.
