Going back to Moldova

Going back to MoldovaLast summer Ipswich-based charity TEECH (Telecommunications Eastern European Challenge) took a team of willing volunteers on a Mission to Moldova

The project was a great success – and it’s just been announced by the charity that TEECH volunteers are set to return to Moldova for this year’s summer project.

Armed with tools, construction equipment and aid, the group will travel to a school in a small village called Zberoaia in Moldova from 10th to 24th August.

Over seven days the team will help improve the basic conditions in the school by installing toilets, sinks, urinals, showers, water heaters, hand driers, tiling walls, painting walls, creating murals and much more.

Hands-on work

The school has already benefited from furniture items donated by TEECH but now needs some hands-on work to benefit the 200 children that attend the school.

Said Holly Field from TEECH: “The project will be a challenge and there is a lot of planning and preparation to do before we set off on the trip but it’s achievable with strong teamwork.”

She added: “If you would like to donate towards the fantastic work TEECH are doing then please click here to our MyDonate page. And if you do decide to donate, you can be assured that all your money will go to supporting this magnificent cause.”
