A helping hand for charities from the IoF

IoFStaff working for small charities have just a few days left to apply for the Institute of Fundraising’s (IoF) one-day conference for just £20.00, thanks to a new bursary scheme.

Individuals representing not-for-profit organisations with annual voluntary incomes of less than £250,000 are entitled to apply for the bursary, which offers savings of £205.00 per person for non-members; and £155.00 for members.

Conferences that are still available through the scheme are: Digital Fundraising 2011, Face to Face Fundraising 2011 and Legacy Fundraising 2011.

Paul Marvell, director of learning at the IoF, said small charities often needed extra support to maximise their fundraising potential.

"These bursaries will offer smaller charity fundraisers knowledge of a range of fundraising techniques to help them build a sustainable future for their organisations,” he said.

If this scheme is relevant to you, you have until 5pm on the 30th August to apply by visiting the Institute of Fundraising’s website.
