MyDonate scoops charity award
International development charity, Childreach International, has named MyDonate as its 'Supplier of the Year 2012'.
The award was presented by the charity's chief executive officer, Firoz Patel and fundraising director Ranjeet Khare at a ceremony held in London.
Childreach International works alongside local communities in the developing world with the belief that all children should have the opportunity to unlock their full potential in life.
In 2011, the charity switched all it's online fundraising platform to MyDonate, and in doing so saved around £100,000 within a year from transaction fees and card transaction costs. The saving has already funded a number of the charity's overseas projects and provided an additional 25,000 children in the developing world with access to education, health and protection.
“MyDonate is a worthy winner of this award,” said Firoz Patel. “Our online fundraising operations have been transformed since last year when we began working with MyDonate.”
He added: “MyDonate provides us with the best value for money and highest quality of service. Our fundraisers now have a fantastic online resource that allows them to track and monitor their fundraising in a clear and accessible way. They love it and so do we.”
Liz Williams, MyDonate general manager said: “We are proud and delighted to see the positive impact MyDonate is making to this wonderful charity and its fundraising endeavours and thrilled to receive this award. Using MyDonate allows Childreach International to spend more money on projects and helping those who need that help.”
