MyDonate partners with Institute of Chartered Accountants

Institute of Chartered AccountantsMyDonate has agreed a new partnership – including the sponsorship of four conferences - with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).

The ICAEW is a professional membership organisation supporting more than 138,000 chartered accountants around the world.

As part of its work, the ICAEW monitors what’s happening in the charity and voluntary sector.

And since many chartered accountants are trustees of charities, the tie-up with the ICAEW is a great opportunity for BT’s free online fundraising platform to raise its profile.

“The aim of ICAEW’s Charity and Voluntary Sector Group is to help people meet the challenges facing the charity sector. Not least is the challenge of fundraising,” said Beth Foster from the ICAEW.

“MyDonate, a not-for-profit, online fundraising service, is a very welcome partner which echoes our values. The group itself is operated by volunteers who put on events across the country and we’re grateful to MyDonate for sponsoring the group. It enable us to go on supporting people who do so much for our communities.”

MyDonate will also be attending four ICAEW conferences, the first of which is due to be held in November 2012.
