Reasons to use BT MyDonate
What we do
MyDonate is just one of BT’s not for profit products. BT invest over 1% of all profits into the UK’s community and environment every year – including MyDonate. At the end of March 2016, BT invested a total of £35m into our purposeful business activities.
In the last 12 months, we’ve been the primary donation platform for Children in Need and the Wayne Rooney Foundation and we have lots more planned for the future including continuing to make our improvements to our platform and online experience, making fundraising easy for both charities and fundraisers alike. We have over 14,000 live fundraising pages and since we launched in 2011, we’ve raised over £100 million.
How we can help
As a charity, there are lots of ways you can use MyDonate. Whether you want to create specific event pages (for things like the London Marathon, a charity bungee jump or a simple cake sale) or set up a personalised corporate partnership page with a company you’re working with - there are lots of ways you can get the most out of our platform. As part of the roll out of our new BT street kiosks this month, providing free wifi, phone calls and other digital services, in the future, people will be able to use these to make donations direct to charities.
Ultimately we want you, our charities, to get the most from your fundraisers. We're proud to say we charge no commission, subscription or registration fee. Because of this, for every £10 donated, using MyDonate will ensure an extra 63p can be used to help your causes.
