Kids charity benefits from celebrity yacht race
Newly-wed Zara Phillips and Hollywood star Ewan McGregor joined a flotilla of other celebrities to take part in a 50 mile race around the Isle of Wight to raise money for charity.
The fifth Artemis Challenge is described as a ‘high adrenaline’ race with the winners handed £10,000 to donate to the charity of their choice.
The race – held during Cowes Week - was won by PRB skippered by French sailor Vincent Riou and a former winner of the Vendee Globe.
It’s understood that the PRB’s nominated charity is Foundation Movement for Children's Village Foundation (MVE) which will receive a cheque for £10,000.
