Celebrating the UK's #smallcharityweek
Small charity week, running from the 16th to the 21st of June, celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector.
At BT we’re proud to support smaller charities, not only during small charity week, but all year round. Here are just some of the ways BT works with small and medium sized charities.
Free fundraising with MyDonate
MyDonate is BT’s not-for-profit, online fundraising service for UK charities. We want to encourage as many people as we can to donate online and to help raise as much money as possible for charities.
Every penny of the money that donors contribute (excluding credit and debit card charges) is paid into the charity’s bank account. BT even collects Gift Aid on the charity’s behalf to maximise fundraising.
Do you know a small charity that could benefit from free fundraising? Tell them about the benefits of registering with MyDonate.
Get online with a BT Community Web Kit
BT’s Community Web Kit has specifically been designed with smaller charities in mind. The simple, easy-to-use kit enables smaller charities to build, manage and update their own websites.
Perhaps you know of a small charity who could do with a little help getting their website up and running? Find out more about the Community Web Kit.
BT Charities Club
The BT Charities Club allows charities across the country to combine their purchasing power so we can offer cheaper services. Joining the Club gives you access to a great value package that includes reduced rates on calls, service and account management, as well as cost savings on moves, changes and out-of-hours assistance.
Our charities say these services are invaluable to them. Find out more about the club.
Dine at the top table with the BT Tower Dining Club for charities
Last year we launched an exciting new service to help charities like you. The Dining Club offers charities the opportunity to request a table at the BT Tower revolving restaurant for free, and if granted, this exclusive three-course meal can be auctioned off to raise money, used to drive awareness of a good cause or awarded as a token of gratitude to supporters.

All of these initiatives are just a small part of BT’s wider commitment to ‘Improving Lives’. Through our people, skills and technology, we help charities and community groups of all sizes make a difference right around the world. Our goal is to help generate £1 billion for good causes by 2020.
