BT adds video baby monitor to award winning range
BT has unveiled a new addition to its award-winning baby monitor family – the BT Digital Video Baby Monitor 1000.
The new monitor has all the features that parents value and have come to expect in a baby monitor, such as excellent sound, two-way talk - so parents can soothe the baby and five calming and relaxing lullabies. But it also has a video camera and a large 71mm (2.8 inch) colour screen that lets parents keep an eye on their little ones from wherever they are in the house.
The BT Digital Baby Monitor 1000 has a huge range, giving parents clear sound and video of their baby at distances of up to 300m (984 feet). When it is dark, the system automatically switches to “night vision” so there is no need for parents to worry about lights disturbing their child.
Additionally, the new baby monitor caters for growing families - a further three cameras can be connected to the unit, allowing parents to keep an eye on all the kids at once.
Other parent-favourite features include wipe-clean rubber keys, a vibrating alert and a baby room temperature display so parents can be sure their child is safe and comfortable.
Erik Raphael, BT’s general manager of devices, said: “We’ve had a great response to our other baby monitors, and we’re really pleased to be expanding the range to include video. The new monitor will give parents extra peace of mind and our Secure Digital Wireless Technology means they’ll have the clear sound and video that they need and have come to expect from BT products.”
BT’s range of baby monitors has received glowing customer reviews and has won numerous awards including the Mother and Baby Gold Award, the Prima Baby and Pregnancy Platinum Readers Award and Mumsnet Best.
The BT Digital Video Baby Monitor 1000 is available from www.bt.com/mybabymonitor, Amazon.com, Argos, Asda, John Lewis, Mothercare and other leading high street stores. It costs £119.99 RRP including VAT and additional cameras cost £49.99 each including VAT.
