Communications technology gives us more choice - choice of when, how and where to work, for example. It also gives us the chance to achieve a better balance in life - balance between work and home. It gives us the freedom to work differently, to run our lives differently, and to do what we want, when we want to do it. We are in control of the technology - it serves us, not the other way around.
