13 May 2005, there were 8,634,629,038 ordinary shares outstanding
including 134,277,107 shares held as treasury shares. At the same
date, approximately 25 million ADSs (equivalent to 250 million
ordinary shares, or approximately 2.9% of the total number of ordinary
shares outstanding on that date) were outstanding and were held
by 2,579 record holders of ADRs. At 31 March 2005, there were 3,593
shareholders with a US address on the register of shareholders.
